Buffy: Freaks and Geeks is amazing! I can finally have some legitimate, canon material to put on my comic shelf that takes place in the early seasons. In the classic Buffy comics, some of the season 1 and 2 issues were a little rusty. With this to fill in the gap, jumping from the Origin series to this to the Cliff Richards issues of season 3 will be even more amazing.

Joss makes a lot of references to other comics like Superman, Batman, etc. in his season 8 comics and now he is taking on another avenue for Buffy: manga-style. From the Hellboy art in the classic comics to the realist art of Cliff Richards, this addition is perfect to represent high-school Buffy. I highly recommend! My niece and I loved it.

Pretty flimsy for the price
Great, fun read.
Normal story. Nothing really great. Just ok. Very straightforward. Aimed obviously for teenagers. If you want read grown up story (like the series or official season 8,9,10...), you don't need to buy this. But if you are collector it will not offend you.
I was a huge fan of the series and got my 14 yr old into it as well. She wants more Buffy so I bought her this and she really enjoyed it.
The artwork is a little hit or miss especially when it came to faces and the characters appearances but otherwise this is a great comic and Im not usually into comics-I just love Buffy. The story is the best part! I can totally see this being an episode of BTVS.
This is a short graphic novel suitable for teens or even tweens. Want to introduce your favorite niece or granddaughter to the world of Sunnydale? The art is bright and simple as compared to the "Seasons" graphic novels. There is a morel, but it isn't so in-your-face as to spoil the adventure.
My favorite part of Buffy was during high school, so I was really excited about The High School Years and it doesn't disappoint! I can't wait for the next one, and hopefully, many more after that. I read Freaks & Geeks on my , but I'd love to read in paperback or hardcover form, with all the issues in one great big book!
